"Peace I leave with; my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give it to you, says the Lord" Jn 14: 27
God is Still Center of Gravity: Keep Coronavirus in Perspective
"...we're dealing with a bug (corona virus) that's pretty dangerous...I kinda get the impression of that we're part of a social engineering experiment worldwide to see just how much this one event can totally occupy our minds and how much it can totally become the center of gravity of our lives. I think that's not a healthy thing as Our Lord said in our final tribulation, and I'm not saying we're in the final tribulation, but to use this as a reference point. In those times of the final tribulation people will be dying of fear before that tribulation that they fear actually occur. We're in danger of that happening today I think, if we don't keep God as the center around which we gravitate, if we don't maintain our trust in Our Blessed Mother's intercession. As Pope Francis suggest if we don't focus on the feasting that is to come after the correct moment of tribulation as he spoke of Our Lady interceding at the Wedding Feast in Cana, so as to use this opportunity to grow in our faith, to not lose sight of God, and to not let anything else become our center of gravity to occupy our mind so much as to lose confidence in God and in His Blessed Mother..."

Lord, where do you send us
to bring your love and mercy to others?
There are no borders, no limits:
you send us to everyone.
Grant us the grace to remember
that your love is not only for those
who seem close to us, receptive to us,
more welcoming to us.
It is for everyone.
Help us not to be afraid to go and
to bring the Gospel into every area of life,
to the fringes of society, even to
those who seem farthest away,
most indifferent.
You seek all, and you want
everyone to feel the warmth of
your mercy and love.
Pope Francis, adapted from World Youth Day Homily, 7-28-13
